Vale, Vale, Vale

Two long flights later, and I've made it to Barcelona! And let me tell you, I've never been so jealous of a person snoring as I was on the plane ride over...

I got so restless that the man sitting next to me asked if I needed to stand up and stretch my legs. Needless to say, I made sure I didn't move half as much as I had been before that comment. And after many hours, I had FINALLY arrived.

The first few days were busy, with program orientations, settling into my new apartment, and going grocery shopping, I don't think I have ever enjoyed sleep as much before, even when I was abroad last year.

So after taking it slow for the first two days, just walking around the city, it was time to once again brave the famous nightlifht here. There's this one bar called Chupitos, which has the most fun shots! One of my favs is the Boy Scout shot (thanks Kasi!!), where you roast a marshmallow at the bar, put it in the shot, eat it, and then take the shot. I didn't think to take a regular picture, just snapchatted it, but next time I go I'll try and remember. Be warned, I remember from my last time here, if someone tries to get you to take a Monica Lewinsky shot, just don't. I won't describe it, so feel free to use your imagination as to what it could be.

It's weird to think that in Austin, the bars close at 6, but in Barcelona, that's the time the party really starts. It's the craziest feeling to walk out of a club, onto the beach, and see the sun rise. But hey, for safety reasons, isn't it better to walk out in the early morning, than late at night? That's how I plan on justifying the late nights to myself at least...

We're up all night to get lucky (jk no)

Somehow, I managed to get myself out of bed (at 1 in the afternoon...) and went to La Sagrada Familia. There are zero words for how jaw-dropping this church is. The intricacy and thought that went into every detail in this church by Gaudi makes my head spin. Honestly, it´s freaking cool, so if you ever visit Barcelona, play the tourist and go!! Let them explain everything to you better than I ever could.

The rest of that day and the next were spent walking around the city. I think one of the coolest neighborhoods that I´ve seen is called El Born. I'll definitely be spending lots of time hanging out there. The street are smaller, more windy, and I could probably just stroll around all day in there.

And finally, today was my first day at my internship!! (yes I am actually going to work mom and dad) It´s for this app called Share is Fashion, which is kind of like Pinterest but just for fashion. You can even get feedback from your friends on outfits, which I think is great because I love second opinions. I'll be doing social media, and blogging for them as well, so if ya wanted to check out the app, maybe download and sign up, I definitely wouldn't hate it...

Hope everyone enjoys their Memorial Day today! Or what's left of it? I hate the different time zones..
