Today I finally say goodbye to the good ol' USA and say hello to Europe for the next six weeks!
I'll definitely miss my friends and family, but I am ecstatic to be going on this new adventure. My parents are accompanying me for the first week and a half, as we island-hop through Greece, and browse the bazaars of Istanbul. I'm pretty sure I've been picturing myself on the beaches in Mykonos and Santorini for the past month. I can already guarantee it'll be a welcome change from my life at home, which consisted of lots of tv. (GOT anyone?!?!)
From there, I'll be flying to Rome to meet up with two of my best friends. After spending a few days exploring the Eternal City, we will make the trek to Florence where we will officially begin our study abroad program! For 3 1/2 weeks I'll be taking a fashion marketing just a short train ride away from one of the fashion capitals of the world, Milan. To say I am thrilled would be an understatement.
Finally, I'll be staying a week after to further explore Italia with my best friend and her family. (Shout out to Katy for letting me tag along!!!)
For now, I am (im)patiently waiting to board a plane that will whisk me away to this journey. Thankfully, I grabbed some friends on the way to keep me at least somewhat entertained.

I hope to be able to update in a couple days to show some of the ancient sites of Athens. I watched Hercules yesterday while procrastinating on my packing, so I think I'm pretty well prepared for Greece...right?
